According to this article, two former University of Texas swimmers set new world records yesterday at the 2006 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships. Aaron Peirsol won the 200-meter backstroke in 1:54.44, breaking his own record, while Neil Walker was part of the team that set a new world mark of 3:12.46 in the 4x100-meter freestyle relay. Wow, sounds like the Longhorns must have some kind of swimming program to produce athletes like this, right?
