The Texas Longhorns' long summer of discontent turned even more troubling Thursday, as police here sought freshman defensive tackle Andre Jones in connection with an East Austin home invasion that already has landed one former UT player in jail.
Jones, one of the top prospects in the Longhorns' latest recruiting class, is wanted on a charge of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, a felony that carries a sentence of five years to life in prison. Bond has been set for $40,000.
He faces the same charge as ex-UT teammate Robert Joseph, who was arrested and accused of involvement in the robbery last week.
