15th ranked Texas defeated Baylor, 74-69, yesterday to advance to the Big 12 conference seminfinals. According to the Associated Press, "Kevin Durant's first-half performance was forgettable. Luckily for Texas, he made up for it by putting on a show in the second half... Durant, the league's player of the year, missed his first 12 shots but recovered to finish with 29 points and 13 rebounds, and the fifteenth-ranked Longhorns came from 20 points down to beat Baylor." Think Texas can win the Big 12?

Big players show up in big games, and that's definitely what Durant did today.

OKLAHOMA CITY - Kevin Durant already has put together the most impressive freshman season in Big 12 history. With one more victory, it'll be a championship season, too.

Durant had 26 points and hit the decisive 3-pointer in the final minute to help No. 15 Texas hold off the Cowboys 69-64 Saturday in a Big 12 semifinal.

Texas will play No. 2 Kansas on Sunday for the tournament title. The Longhorns lost 90-86 at Kansas on March 3 in the teams' regular-season meeting.

"Oklahoma State doesn't give you much," Texas coach Rick Barnes said. "You earn what you get. They did a really good job on Kevin. He was a little tired. ... (but) when it counted, he made the big one."

So it's Texas vs. Kansas for all the marbles in the Big 12 on Sunday. Who do you like in this one?

Yep, I do believe you are correct. Now to wait and see if Kansas will be a #1 seed.

did anybody else in the world see how we got robbed?? the score was 63-60 when chalmers was called for a charge on augustin...so the basket he made should NOT have counted..

but they later flashed the score of 65-60...and they NEVER changed it back...so we actually WON the championship..i rewinded it on my DVR just to make sure..and yes the score keeper messed up...
