Re: Big 12 Snubs Kansas for Texas Probably, but you are seemingly a Kansas fan so it is understandable. I have some bad news for you though, as a Kansas fan, I would not have very high expectations for Bill Self competing for an NCAA title, much less winning one. At one point in time this guy had not only all the players on last years Illinois team, but also Brian Cook, Corey Bradford and Frank Williams. That is at least seven NBA draft picks if you include the three guards off last years team (Head, Williams, Brown) and Augustine. Not only did they fail to make the final four, I can't even recall them making it to the sweet sixteen! (I am not 100% positive about that so feel free to correct me.) And if you look at Kansas' two early exits from the tournament under Self, it is only the beginning and anything but a coincidence. Prepare to be dissapointed.

Re: Big 12 Snubs Kansas for Texas Cjg, I think you overlooked what Lefty was trying to say. He was not arguing that Self could take Kansas to the Final Four, but instead saying that they deserve the same recognition as Texas for winning a share of the conference title. And I agree with him. I get tired of certain teams getting all the publicity, but that's the way it has always been. Congrats to KU and Texas!

Re: Big 12 Snubs Kansas for Texas But Texas is the stronger team. Okay sure Kansas beat them for the conference finals but this Kansas hype is similar to the Syracuse hype in my opinion. Kansas wont get to the elite eight but Texas will. I am laying it on the line. Pitt is gonna take out Kansas, which is always a tournament favorite. How can you say that Kansas gets no press. They are always on the screen. Kansas gets a lot of praise everytime they make the tournament so I'm a Longhorn fan this year.
