Jevan Snead to transfer

Longhorns backup QB Jevan Snead has announced is intention to transfer, though he does not say where yet. Snead's departure leaves UT with no experienced backup behind the injured Colt McCoy for their bowl game. Snead says he wants to start somewhere else. What do you guys think of his decision to leave Texas?

Re: Jevan Snead to transfer

He has to do what is best for himself. If he stays at UT, he will be nothing more than a backup for his entire career if McCoy stays healthy.

Re: Jevan Snead to transfer

I still haven't heard where he might wind up. Wonder if he'll follow Chizik to Iowa State?
