Texas Longhorns vs. Kansas State

Colt McCoy and the Texas Longhorns are one of the hottest teams in the country right now, and the UT QB has a chance to throw more TD passess than any other freshman in Division I history. The Longhorns are 9-1 going into this weekend's game with Kansas State, and I can't see where they'll have any problem collecting their 10th victory at the Wildcats expense. What do you think?

Re: Texas Longhorns vs. Kansas State

According to the Associated Press, "If Texas beats Kansas State (6-4, 3-3), the Longhorns wrap up a berth in the Big 12 title game even though they still must play rival Texas A&M on Nov. 24." Just more added incentive for the Longhorns to come away with a big win in this one, don't you think?

Kansas State has played better than I expected this year, but they are no match for the Longhorns.

Texas 49
K-State 17

Agreed, especially now that Texas knows they've got a good shot at the BCA title game. Pretty much all they need is a Florida loss and they're golden, unless an OSU-Michigan rematch is in the cards. That's unlikely, though, considering the Rose Bowl wants the loser of that game.

Texas is down, 42-28 at the end of the 3rd.

Amazing job if Kansas State can pull it out.

Losing Colt McCoy was a huge blow for Texas, but that doesn't explain the Longhorn defense giving up 21 points in a 3:06 span in the third quarter. I absolutely cannot believe what I am seeing right now.

Texas joins Auburn and Cal today as another pretender down the drain. Makes Vince Young look that much better now doesn't it? Wait, that sound I am hearing. Is it Notre Dame moving up in the polls?
