According to this, the Texas Longhorns, who enter the game as a 6-point favorite, have won their last 5 games. UT has also gone unbeaten in their last 10 October games and has claimed victory in 10 straight Big 12 match-ups. Are those statistics a good indicator of who will win on Saturday?

None of those facts matter when they take the field in Lincoln. It is going to cold and the Huskers are extremely motivated to win this game. Nebraska has a long proud tradition in football with more than 800 victories in school history. Texas is pretty good, but so is Nebraska and they are at home. I gotta go with the Huskers.

Texas has superior talent and should be able to handle the Huskers, who I think is a much improved team. My guess is Texas will win by at least 10 points.

I predicted (to myself) that this would be a close one and a great game. Looks right now (4th qtr) like I was right on for once!

Starting to snow, just as the Huskers break a big run and charge forward, momentum seems to be turning.

Definitely was a close one, with the Longhorns hitting a game-winning field goal at the end. I gotta give credit to Nebraska, though. They played their hearts out in this one. For the longest time, I thought they made a dumb move by hiring Callahan, but he sure seems to have that Husker team turned around.

So, with this win and the Irish just barely edging UCLA, does Texas leap over Notre Dame in the BCS this week?
