Re: Can Texas run the Big 12 table?

According to this article from the San Antonio Express, "Despite that September loss to Ohio State, UT looks strong to sweep its Big 12 schedule and nail down a second-straight league title. The Longhorns haven't accomplished that in 10 years — not since UT won the final Southwest Conference crown in 1995 and followed by pocketing the first Big 12 title."

So what do you think? Can the Longhorns go unbeaten in the Big 12?

Texas is certainly capable of sweeping through, but they still have a game in Lincoln coming up in 11 days. Arch rival Texas A&M usually plays them tough no matter what the rankings are. I only see these two teams left on the schedule that could rise to challenge them.

Re: Can Texas run the Big 12 table?

There is no reason they shouldn't. Even though they lost to Ohio State, one could argue that they are still the 2nd best team in the country, even ahead of USC, Florida and West Virginia. I think they will handle Nebraska, even though it is in Lincoln. The Huskers need to pray for bad weather in that game to have a shot. I also think they will roll over the Aggies, unfortunately. That game is in Austin this year and we have not played well in Austin in years.
