Re: Texas at Missouri

The undefeated season will continue. Just need Missisipi to beat Florida.

Re: Texas at Missouri

Well, I agree with you somewhat Full Cougar. Just spoke to my insider from Columbia, MO yesterday and he told me the Tigers are starting a QB who is horrible. OK, I asked him if the Tigers have any shot against the Longhorns at all? He says no! LOL

Ok, I am going to take his word for it and do not expect any upset here whatsoever. Tigers started off the season beating horrible non-conference teams and this will now catch up to them. I watched the Nebraska vs Missouri game and saw some potential with the Tigers but not much. They got blown out by the CornHuskers in the 2nd half.

Prediction: Texas 48 Missouri 14

P.S. I hope I am wrong on this prediction but if my friend Tom, a huge fan in Columbia gives the Tigers no chance, I don't either.

(3) Texas 41, Missouri 7

Undefeated Longhorns top Tigers for sixth straight time

COLUMBIA, Mo. -- Colt McCoy had been off his game in recent weeks. He got it all back together against Missouri. McCoy completed his first 11 passes and produced touchdowns on No. 3 Texas' first three drives, helping to put the Tigers away early in a 41-7 victory on Saturday night.
McCoy matched his season best with three touchdown passes, two of them to Jordan Shipley, while Texas' defense blocked a punt for a score in a nearly flawless first half that produced a 35-7 lead.

"Colt has had a very tough year," coach Mack Brown said. "He's been sick, he's been hurt, but he's tough. We've got the Colt of old back now and ready to make the stretch run."

McCoy's on-target performance helped Texas win its 11th in a row overall and he's 39-7 overall at Texas, tying Tennessee's Peyton Manning for second in career victories.

Re: Texas at Missouri

Texas keeps on rolling. After 8 weeks now I really have to wonder if the Big 12 is really that good overall this year? Colorado losing to CSU? Oklahoma losing to BYU at home? Kansas St losing to UCLA? Texas A & M Getting clobbered by Arkansas? Nebraska now has lost two in a row. Kansas started in the top 10?

Anybody think it is pretty much Texas and everybody else this year so far in the Big 12 for the BCS? Can Oklahoma or Ok St get there?

Re: Texas at Missouri

Without a doubt Texas is top team in the Big 12. I say the Sooner season is over. As far as a National Championship appearance goes. The Cowboys have actually looked pretty good, they are playing Texas next week. If they could win that game, there will be argument about who is the top team in the Big 12. Until then, it is the Longhorns undisputed.
