| Aggies vs. Fresno State Texas A&M beat Montana State, 38-7, on Saturday, but coach Dennis Franchione wasn't totally thrilled with his team's debut performance. "Heaven knows we've got plenty to work on... We had some typical communication mistakes and some stupid penalties that kind of set us back," Franchione said, adding, "But we did a lot of good things tonight. I don't feel bad." Well, they've got a week's worth of practices to fix the errors. So what do you expect out of the Aggies this weekend against Fresno State?

| Re: Aggies vs. Fresno State Wild finish here, but somehow, the Aggies come away with the win. According to the Associated Press, "Texas A&M blew a 19-point lead, had a game-winning play negated by a penalty, then needed Jorvorskie Lane's power and one last defensive stand to finally put away Fresno State on Saturday... Lane rushed for two of his four touchdowns in the second and third extra periods as the 23rd-ranked Aggies beat the feisty Bulldogs 47-45 in three overtimes."
