| Aggies beat Penn - NCAA Tourney Thanks to Acie Law and Joseph Jones, the Texas A&M Aggies were able to hang on in a close one, beating Penn 68-52 yesterday. According to the Assoicated Press, "Law led the Aggies with 20 points despite hitting only six of 15 shots. While the Quakers (22-9) found an answer for him in Ibrahim Jaaber, they couldn't answer Texas A&M's inside game... Jones tied the game at 39 with a thundering dunk at the 11-minute mark, then added another dunk to give the Aggies the lead for good. He finished with a double-double -- 14 points, 11 rebounds." Next up for A&M is Louisville, which looked darn good against Stanford yesterday. Can the Aggies beat the Cardinals?

| Re: Aggies beat Penn - NCAA Tourney Glad the Aggies were able to pull it out even without Law having one of his better games. It's good to see others stepping up because the game was a lot closer than the final score indicated. The boys are really going to have to step up their game to beat Louisville who looked scary good against Stanford. I have to wonder though if Louisville is really as good as they looked because honestly, I don't think Stanford even belonged in the tourney. |
