A&M vs Texas Tech

Big game this weekend in College Station for A&M. The sand fleas from Lubbock embarassed us last year. We appear to be much better defensively this year, but we have not really played a top tier program yet. This game will go a long way to showing where A&M, and Francione are headed.

I personally have my doubts. In the past few years we have not been willing to commit to pressuring the QB. I feel that this is the key to shutting down their offense. (TCU proved it this year) If you pressure their young QB, he will make mistakes. If you don't, he will stand around and dink you to death with 4 and 5 yard passes.

It should be a good game. I hear that the game is pretty much sold out already so it should be loud Saturday.

Re: A&M vs Texas Tech

Pitiful loss. We took the lead with a little over 2 mins left in the game and then let Tech drive 80 yards for the win. While I think we have improved defensively dramatically, we still have a long way to go. Our passing game was also non-existent. I am not sure if that is a game planning decision or QB problem. I tend to lead to the game planning. Fran is not a great side-line guy.

It always hurts when we lose to the sand fleas from Lubbock.

Re: A&M vs Texas Tech

That definitely was a tough loss for the Aggies. I was hoping they would hold on for the win because of a certain group of Texas Tech fans I know that are the most obnoxious, arrogant, and rude fans I have ever met representing any school. I figure if they just start losing games, these people will go away. lol

PS, none of the fans I am referring to are from this site, thankfully.

They do have an obnoxious fan base. I think they are a reflection of their coach. Of course, if you lived in Lubbock, you would probably be pissed off too.
