Aggies v. Army on ESPN2 9/16

Texas A&M goes on the road, sort of, this weekend to play Army in San Antonio. The game will be on ESPN2 starting at 9:15pm eastern time. This should be a little more of a test for the Ag's since their 1st two games were against less than stellar competition.

Don't expect too much of a challenge out of Army - they needed OT to beat Kent State on Saturday.

A&M's traditions lie with the military so this should be a little bit of a rivalry game. I am sure Army will be up for it. However, we should handle them easily. But, I don't take anyone for granted right now, based on last years performances.

Luckily there were other great games on and most of the country did not watch this game. Our defense was exposed for what it truly is, BAD.
Army marched the ball up and down the field on us all night long. We were lucky to win. Then to top it off, that knuckle head Fran after the game tells the ESPN sideline reporter, "We needed a game like this." What?? YOu needed to be embarassed on national TV??? Give me a break.

Yeah, the Black Knights managed 347 yards of total offense and 5.4 yards per carry on the ground yesterday in the 28-24 A&M victory. While a win's a win, I can imagine most Aggie fans feel like you do today - a little dissapointed in their team's performance against what should have been far inferior competition.
