This has to go into the books as an upset - Venus Williams has won her 4th Wimbledon title. According to the Associated Press, "With a dominant run through the latter rounds, Williams became the lowest-ranked woman to win Wimbledon, beating Marion Bartoli of France 6-4, 6-1 Saturday for her fourth championship at the All England Club." Did anyone in their wildest imagination predict that she would've pulled this off?

Nope. I thought the Williams era was over. What happened to big Maria? Fame getting to her? All those endorsement deals she has to keep track of?

I think Serena bounced Sharapova in the quarter finals.

I'm like you - I didn't think a Williams sister was going to win, and even if one did, I would've bet Serena over Venus any day of the week!

It was Venus that beat Sharapova, my ex girlfriend , in round 4. I was heartbroken
