| Vols Home Field Advantage With a #23 ranking, our Vols are supposedly facing an uphill battle against #9 California. Despite that, we're a slight favorite to win the game because of the home field advantage. We've opened with a 2 point spread in this game. I think we usually get a 3 point advantage for playing at home. So am I correct that we'd be a 1 point dog on a neutral field? Some questions for you guys... What makes Neyland Stadium have the proverbial home field advantage? Is the advatage worth 3 points, or more or less? Any other college football stadium that you think deserves a bigger advantage from having a home field?

| Re: Vols Home Field Advantage Some things that give the UT Vols football team a home field advantage at Neyland Stadium: 1) UT has just short of an 80% winning record at Neyland. 2) Neyland Stadium's all time attendance record was 109,061 for the 2004 game against the Florida Gators. So we can pack 'em in there Who can add to the list?

| Re: Vols Home Field Advantage Michigan stadium is not very loud, considering the number of people there. They can't compare to teams like Tennessee, Ohio State, LSU, Auburn, Florida, and Penn State. |
