Coach Cutcliffe didn't like what he saw with the O line when he returned and has been slimming these guys down. Last year, the Vols up front averaged about 330 & nobodys even close to that now. Chris Scott lost 60 pounds in the offseason.
One thing that stood out to me in this story was the comparison on rushing yards between 2004 & 2005. We all know that the Vols 2005 season was a disaster but I didn't realize the rushing yards were down 1,000 yards from 2004. Almost chopped in half.

"I think we've made some progress. You know Sears and Ligon can play. I'm really happy with the progress Eric Young has made. ... Parker I think has done well," Fulmer said.
"I believe we'll fight you, and we're fairly athletic."

Looks like we're best on the left side with seniors Arron Sears at left tackle and David Ligon at left guard.
So what's your opinion on these guys? Do the Vols break 2,000 yards rushing for the 2006 season?
