Re: VOLS New Coach You worry about your game tomorrow & let our Vols worry about the coming 2009 season. You had better hope you can get Tebow or he will pick you apart my friend.

Re: VOLS New Coach Are you serious. Bama is going to be very good for years to come but It will take a "miracle " for ya'll to beat Florida. I'm sorry I could be wrong but ya'll just ain't that good. I know Ole Miss beat Florida but the team is a new team since then. As I said before good luck to ya'll but ya'll will need it.

Re: VOLS New Coach Watch and learn Grasshopper.... History is repeating itself anybody remember 1992 and the Miami Hurricaines led by Vinny Testaverde? They were supposed to absolutely pass Alabama silly and run all over them because of team speed. This was supposed to be a yawner. It was just the opposite as Alabama beat them by at least 17 points. The whole world was left standing with their jaws wide open. This is so similar it is scary. The only people giving Alabama a chance are its fans. This time coach Saban is in instead of coach Stallings. The results will be the same.

Re: VOLS New Coach We have some players in TN that are plenty good enough to be looked at more than they are by UT. One that got away here in E.TN was Curt Phillips. He was a QB from Sullivan South HS that was head and shoulders above any other QB in this end of the state. If you wanted him to run it, he would do so with attitude, even if he had to knock a few heads in the process, great passer, good vision, more or less the whole package. Wis. thought enough of him to come down here and get him. I dont know how things are going for him this year, but in HS he was something to watch. Players like this need more than a passing glance. Look at Jason Witten for the Cowboys, a product of East TN. We have talent in the state, maybe not like some other places, but we do have some if UT would go after them.

Re: VOLS New Coach The Vols lost one of the RB yesterday that we were chasing. He has comitted to Stevie at SC. But we did get a comittment from an instate DB that we had been after. Dont have any specifics on this, but its something to keep an eye on, the recruiting season is heating up. Does anybody know how the rest of the SEC teams are doing and what comitments they have received?VOLS RULE!!!!!
