All I can say is he better figure it out fast because the fans are in a feeding frenzy and the rose is off the bloom in February.

You worry about your game tomorrow & let our Vols worry about the coming 2009 season. You had better hope you can get Tebow or he will pick you apart my friend.

Saban is about to unleash a team that has been openly disrespected even though they are the best team in the land. They have been publicly humiliated even though they have done nothing but win. All these so called "Experts" do not see the perfect storm forming. I think Urban Meyer has an inkling that trouble is brewing but has no idea of the ferocity and fury that is about to engulf his team. The emotional factor of this game gives Alabama a psychological edge. Saban has had them thinking us against the world from day one. It has worked so far.

Are you serious. Bama is going to be very good for years to come but It will take a "miracle " for ya'll to beat Florida. I'm sorry I could be wrong but ya'll just ain't that good. I know Ole Miss beat Florida but the team is a new team since then. As I said before good luck to ya'll but ya'll will need it.

Watch and learn Grasshopper....

History is repeating itself anybody remember 1992 and the Miami Hurricaines led by Vinny Testaverde? They were supposed to absolutely pass Alabama silly and run all over them because of team speed. This was supposed to be a yawner. It was just the opposite as Alabama beat them by at least 17 points. The whole world was left standing with their jaws wide open. This is so similar it is scary. The only people giving Alabama a chance are its fans. This time coach Saban is in instead of coach Stallings. The results will be the same.

Re: VOLS New Coach

We have some players in TN that are plenty good enough to be looked at more than they are by UT. One that got away here in E.TN was Curt Phillips. He was a QB from Sullivan South HS that was head and shoulders above any other QB in this end of the state. If you wanted him to run it, he would do so with attitude, even if he had to knock a few heads in the process, great passer, good vision, more or less the whole package. Wis. thought enough of him to come down here and get him. I dont know how things are going for him this year, but in HS he was something to watch. Players like this need more than a passing glance. Look at Jason Witten for the Cowboys, a product of East TN. We have talent in the state, maybe not like some other places, but we do have some if UT would go after them. VOLS RULE!!!!!

I believe he will go out of state, but its a tough business and he will have to be agressive and convincing at the same time. I know this wont happen overnight, but he is young with a lot of fire and I look for him to try and build an offense like the one he had at USC, and it is going to take some time to get it done. But wouldnt it be great to watch a Tennessee Vols football team put up 35, 45 points a game and kick some butts in the SEC.VOLS RULE!!!!!

Wrong again goob! Vinny played in 1985 for the Canes against UT. We beat them 35-7. You are thinking of Ginno Toretta. He was a first round draft pick & didn't make it in the pros.

I hope your Bammers win. I really do. I just can't see it happening though........

Tebow rushed for 57 yards and passed for 216 including 3 TDs. Dismantled? I don't think so. Image if Harvin would have been playing.

When is Saban going to unlease this defense. Sorry Stoney I couldn't resist. Ya'll played better than I expected. Good luck with Utah. Ya'll should kill them.

Re: VOLS New Coach

The Vols lost one of the RB yesterday that we were chasing. He has comitted to Stevie at SC. But we did get a comittment from an instate DB that we had been after. Dont have any specifics on this, but its something to keep an eye on, the recruiting season is heating up. Does anybody know how the rest of the SEC teams are doing and what comitments they have received?VOLS RULE!!!!!

I was told they are keeping a wrap on everything because the NFL season is still in progress. If what I was told is true, we should hear something after the end of the NFL season. Unofficial word is yes he is coming, but you can hear so much. Personally I think he will, what father wouldnt want to help his son succeed, especially after the Raiders mess Lane was in. But thats just me thinking, I sure hope so though. VOLS RULE!!!!!
