He was a terrible coach... Bobby Bowden is a great coach he is constantly seeking to reinvent himself Fulmer rested on his fat butt. Vincesanity82 you need to wake up and smell the roses. Fulmer was forced out... he should have stepped down last season when he backed into the SEC Championship with three losses. That would have been the classy way to go out. Wait classless that defines Fulmer the Snitch. He literally tore apart the Volunteer Faithful and finally like Frankenstein the villagers stormed the castle with torches and pitchforks. Good riddance! I hope your team gets a competitive coach who will stay undefeated until we meet them.

'Cost-cutting' Vols slashing free Cokes, hotdogs
November 17, 2008 6:06 PM
Posted by ESPN.com's Chris Low
For all those Tennessee fans calling for the Vols to pay $4 million, $5 million or whatever it takes to get the next rock-star football coach, they might want to consider the latest crisis to hit the athletic department.
To cut costs, the Tennessee athletic department is no longer allowing its ushers at basketball games to have a free Coke and a free hotdog. In the old days, the ushers -- many of them retirees and older men and women who've been working as ushers for years -- received a voucher for a free Coke and free hotdog.
The retail value of those vouchers was $7, and we won't go into how much markup there was on Cokes and hotdogs at Tennessee athletic events in the first place.
Clearly, though, the Tennessee athletic department is hurting if it's slashing these "high-priced" vouchers to save money. People need to remember this the next time they accuse Tennessee of having money trees growing up on the famed Hill overlooking Neyland Stadium.
Wait a minute, though.
Isn't this the same university that's paying its long-time football coach, Phillip Fulmer, $6 million to take a hike after giving him an extension and raise just last year?
That's a lot of Cokes and hotdogs.
