| No More White Jerseys at Neyland? Interesting article in the Maryville paper. Since TV started airing college football games, the NCAA decreed that the visiting teams should wear white jerseys. The reason was black & white TV made it hard to distinguish many team colors. Now UCLA & USC have permission to both wear their team team colors when they play each other this season. That's the 1st exception to the decades old rule so it brings to mind, why the hell can't we have teams wear their real colors for every game? Might piss off the folks with black & white TV's but all I can say is sorry grandma. Time for you to move to a plasma hdtv. I think it would be awesome to have both teams in their colors on the field. You can always have one team wear white if their colors were too similar. Like Bama & Arkansas. But the Vols wouldn't have too many opponents wearing orange so we could pretty much wear them for every game. Great idea or am I whacked in the head? How would you like to see all the Vols opponents wearing their team colors at Neyland?
