we need a quarterback

This comming year 2006, I hope we get a quarterback that can run and put pursure on the defense to make them think about keeping a linebacker in the middle.
This year really sucked because we had two sorry quarterbacks one could run but not pass and the other could pass but not run. Also what happen to our running game and wide receivers they were both said this year. Our O-line was ok but you can't hold your block forever. [/b]

hi larry

hey larry, welcome. i agree, there were several problems last year. the offense just stunk all the way around. they are gonna have to do better than ainge at qb. i agree. maybe crompton will end up playing. or maybe they can get someone. adding cutcliffe should help with the offensive production. they have enough talent up there right now to compete with a lot of teams, regardless of who they get this offseason. so we will see how it all turns out. this will be a good test for phil and i think everything will work out. he didnt win that many games with just luck.

The vols need coach with class, someone with integrity and knows how to make decisions about players ability. That two qb system won't work!

Quarterback

Southlake signal-caller Greg McElroy gave Mike Shula a verbal commitment and answered all the questions surrounding the Alabama quarterback position in the 2006 class. McElroy, 6-foot-2, 212-pounds, put up staggering numbers as a senior including 4,636 yards passing and 56 touchdowns.
