| two teammates disciplined for incident with recruit Sterlington product Ahmad Paige is one of three Tennessee players to be disciplined by Coach Phillip Fulmer and Men’s Athletics Director Mike Hamilton for violating team rules. Paige, along with teammates William Brimfield and Gerald Jones, will be required to perform community service with a drug rehabilitation facility, participate in police ride-alongs and submit to more frequent drug tests, Fulmer said. They also will be prohibited from hosting recruits for one year, he said. The three, escorting a Tennessee football prospect, were stopped by police late on Jan. 11 near the campus in a car driven by Jones, a freshman wide receiver. The car was registered to Paige, also a freshman wideout. Jones and Paige were charged with possession of marijuana after a search of the vehicle. The News Star - www.thenewsstar.com - Monroe, LA
