I'm just checking out scout.com (free access to all premuim articles until sunday) and looked at their recruiting rankings for this years class. SEC looks like this....
UGA- 2
LSU- 4
FLA- 5
AU- 13
ALA- 18
MISS- 20

That's right, UT is nowhere to be found. Hell, OLE MISS is 20th.... get used to being at the bottom of the east UT fans. I expect SC to move up on this list with the success they've had this season. The chances of UT returning to past glory any time soon look mighty slim.

'past glory'? They haven't won an SEC title since 1998 and they've only won 2 national championships. Maybe 'past success' but 'glory'? Not hardly.

and they only have 8 recruits. tn always finishes in the top ten, even in a bad year. they will again this year. but dont worry, auburn will beat everyone in the sec, including bama.

Yeah, they will probabaly crack the top 25.... but the point is that 5 or 6 programs in the SEC are on a better track than UT. You might finish with a 15-20 ranked recruiting year, but UGA, FLA, LSU, bama, and auburn will almost surely have a better year, and they are already more talented than UT. Ole Miss is doing well, SC is gonna get some studs and arkansas is getting the best high school QB to go along with their awesome RB. I think the vols better get used to consistantly being in the middle of the pack in the SEC east.

I just read where Cutcliffe is gonna come back as off. Coord. and should be on the recruiting trail next week. He will bring in some good talent. After all he recruited the class that was there before and after we won the title in '98.
