this is what i dont understand.so if tennessee played with the same level of players and played exactly the same against wyoming as they did against ucla and beat wyoming than there wouldnt be talk about fulmer losing his job? thats just stupid

Fulmer should have been gone after 2005. No question about it. He is a great guy and everything but his assistant coaches are not good enough to make up for his shortcomings. The WHOLE GROUP needs to go.

Because the snitch was worried that coach Cutcliff would dig up some dirt on him.Then coach Cutcliff would be the new head coach.

I am pretty sure he also was offered more money as Head coach at Duke. He is a very good coach, and i would love to see him as Head after Fulmer.

And btw, even if Tenn was able to beat Wyoming i'd still want Fulmer gone. I have felt that his days are very numbered ever since 2005. I haven't felt very confident about any game Tenn has played since probably 1999. I am worried about playing UAB, i am VERY worried about Florida. I really want that confidence that my team is amazing back

i dont have any reasons not to have confidence for the vols cus to me they are the best they might have a few things going wrong ond of them being a few fans with a lack of confidence.i love the vols i will die a vol fan and i will root for them and i will never doubt there chances for winning the vols will beat uab and they will have fla at home and they can beat fla.GO VOLS! ! ! ! !

I don't know, Tennesee is suspect in every game even the Northern Illinois nothing suprises me anymore when it come to Fulmer choking on his platitudes. It is quite possible they don't win another game.

Funny you should say that Stoney, I talked with a few of my die-hard vol friends this morning and one said he hopes we lose every other game this year so Fulmer would surely be fired. I myself would never say such a thing, but this fire Fulmer thing is starting to take on a life of its own. This whole season is turning into Stoneys dream season.

I still dont know about the coaching change, Phil has done well for years, but whatever is wrong needs to be fixed soon. I think they took one step in that direction Sat against N. Ill. I dont think Phil had much of a choice in the QB switch, weve all ready had a whole years worth of bloopers at the QB spot. Time for some smart consistant play there and we may see a different Vol team in the next few weeks.
