| I havent gloated over the Vols season. You feel for folks when this happens, because it scares the crap out of you in the SEC. You start realizing how close many games were and except for a break here or there anybody could be 4-7 or 5-6. Look how many close razor thin games were played by the 9-2 or 8-3 teams. The Vols down year will probably help them next year, while teams enjoying themselves this time around may have their own ills next time.

| exactly right well, i think you are exactly right. thats why i dont get the guys from the other teams on here rubbing it in how bad tn is. their teams were often a field goal away from losing several games. oh, and way to go and kill florida state in the game tonight. my congrats to florida on a good game. made fl state look terrible.

| Thanks, FSU is going through some negative ripples in a program that has had extraordinary success over the last twenty years. The problem is...Bowden's staff has slowly dwindled with assistants leaving for head coaching jobs. Their replacements have not been on the same par including his sons. Ever since our probation in the 80's, Bowden got the recruiting jump and never looked back. He's owned us usually 2 out of every three years. But the worm may be turning. Many front line in-state recruits committed after the game, The type of athletes that we've been losing to FSU and Miami. We're still tradionally #3 in our own state and till we have the balls to play Miami regularly or win a third game in a row versus FSU the perception remains. I hope it will change. Maybe you didnt need a book on the Sunshine State...sorry |

| Well I guess I've succeeded Well I guess I've succeeded in pissing all you VOL'S off. I did not know that it would be so easy though. But anyway, I'll leave you all alone for now and let your wounds heal. But there are a lot of others that will take up where I left off. I feel sorry for you poor loosers. BAMA won those games. UT did not. Don't try to take that away from us. YOU LOST THEM ON YOUR OWN!!! How was Thanksgiving in VOL Country this year? L-E-T-S R-O-L-L to the B-O-W-L |

| im sure its gonna get so much worse, haha. we just signed one of the best off coordinators and recruiters in the sec in cutcliffe. he has produced a ton of top draft choices and averaged over 33 points a game in his coaching career. i since things are gonna improve. if tn had averaged 33 points a game this year they would be 10-1. its gonna get better. oh, and who is crying? "we were on ncaa sanctions and a coaching merry go round." sounds like bama is making excuses. cry me a river. the facts are simple, 10 out of the last 12. doesnt matter what your excuse is. yeah u guys won this year. that is a fact too. i can live with that. thats why u are on here talking smack. u guys arent used to beating tn in the last 12 years. so like i said, talk it up and make excuses as to why u have only done it 16% of the time in the last 12 years. im not the one making excuses for tn getting beat. we got beat. its been a bad year. thats gonna happen. in fact, it wasnt too long ago that bama lost what 9 games in a season. and thats what happens when bama fans arent used to their team winning. when they have one decent season they all act like it is the greatest thing to ever happen. tn fans are used to winning (except for this year). so when tn does good, we dont have to talk smack. we are used to them winning and we expect them to win. u guys need to grow up and act like u have won 9 games before. i cant remember the last time u did, but im sure u have won 9 before. it may have been back when bear bryant was alive, but i know u have won 9 games. |

| you think so huh? from a ut fan selling his devotion to UT on rivals.com ...... "Bringing Cutcliffe back topped the scales for me. It was the comfortable thing to do. I don't remember anybody hanging on to his legs when he left. In fact, a lot of fans thought it would be great. "That's where the problem really lies. With the fans. It is the quietest 107,000 people you will ever be around. The Vanderbilt game was the straw that broke my back. For the first time in 12 years I arrived there and was surrounded by empty seats and the people that did show up were talking on their cell phones." |
