While I can't argue that they beat LSU, I can say that it was the Defense that carried UT to that win. The problem is the Offense. Randy Sanders' system has never worked since he took over the OC position. Furthermore, another problem is simply that Phil has been there so long that his judgement has become clouded. He still tries to promote Randy even after Randy himself stepped down from the OC position.

The entire Offensive Coaching Staff and Special Teams Staff needs to be replaced. Phil doesn't need to go just yet, but he needs to remember that this is a team with fans that expects wins on Saturday.

I went to the Vandy game and I've never seen a more "dead" crowd in my 35 years. This is a direct reflection of the teams ability. They can play all those stupid Proffitts commercials and try to make Phil and the team look like the God's of Football, but the fact remains that what you've done doesn't really mean squat compared to what you need to do. The glory of Peyton Manning and the '98 National Championship are long gone.

The fans don't pay the ticket prices they charge to see losses. They need to stop trying to plug the holes and use this off-season to build a new ship and one that will do what's expected.

I have never been so embarrassed to be a vol fan, but it is not because of our record. It is because of the "what have you done for me lately fans" who clog up the airwaves showing everyone how STUPID Tennessee fans can be when things don't go their way.

Welcome to the real world...when you decide to quit being such a "homer" and grab your ears and pull your head out or your rear you'll se we have way too much talent on the field to play that poorly...they are simply not coached very well. Now who that exactly falls on can be debated but it's not like it happened in just one game but instead the entire year. No the coached don't play the the game but have you seen any improvement in our widerecievers or better yet how about your QBs? the only bright spot is our D and they are what kept us in the games this year. You can be a fan and still criticise and if you don't think there should be some critical opinions about the coaching staff after this year then you are not only a Homer but a blind moron.

Your right Lets see last year they go to the SEC champ game with 2 freshman QB's and a very young rec group. This year they woke up one morning and forgot how to coach. What was I thinking. Get real, your so use to winning that you have lost sight of how hard it is to win year after year. 16 straight bowl appearances, SEC east winners 4 times, Oh yea 1 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.
