...wager all you want. He's right, it will be at least 13 months before your second tier program goes to a bowl. You went from preseason #3, to an absolute embarassment. Also, the vols lost to Vandy today and were guaranteed a losing season and therefore no bowl appearance. Vandy gets to talk all the smack they want. Go ahead and tell them it may be another 22 years, or that its been a long time since they were in a bowl. The fact is that they rolled in to Neyland stadium and beat you. Live with the fact that at this time, Vandy is superior to the vols. I mean, how funny is it that you've fallen so far that your band starts playing Rocky Top just because you stopped Vandy on a third down conversion. Vandy, that hadn't beat you in 22 years. Vandy that hasn't been to a bowl in decades. Vandy that's unranked and has been the doormat of the SEC. Now that's the vols position. So go ahead and try to talk down to the 'mighty 'dores'. The fact is, you've got to worry about how you'll perform against Kentucky, and Vandy has a year to enjoy their victory over an inferior program.

28-24. 4-6, one more game and you're off until September. Losses to Spurrier, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Notre Dame and Vandy (and maybe KY). What I experience when I think of that is joy. Enjoy the holidays off. Watch the 58 other Division 1-A teams that were better than you play in their bowl games.

yeah, they lost, but its ok. i would rather them get all their losing out of their system this year. gonna be back tough next year. but yes, they have had problems this year. nobody wins them all. look at michigan, oklahoma, this year. it happens. it aint like anybody else in the sec is undefeated and even if they were there is no one in the sec that could beat usc, texas, or miami for that matter. so shut up and go back to your own home page.
