| Vols want to stick to basics to tackle run-heavy Hogs KNOXVILLE — If good tackling is an art, then the Vols need to be a bunch of Picassos on Saturday. The nation's top running back comes to Neyland Stadium this weekend when Darren McFadden and Arkansas line up against UT in what's sure to be a run-dominated football game. McFadden tied an SEC record last week with 321 rushing yards against South Carolina. Fellow running back Felix Jones went for 166. And the team rushed for an incredible 542. With that, the modus operandi for UT is simple: Don't get cute, don't try to force a fumble, and just get the Razorbacks to the turf as soon as possible. "I think if we make our tackles and rally to the football and make our hits, that can loosen the ball up," Vols defensive end Xavier Mitchell said. "But as far as trying to strip at it while tackling, that's when (McFadden) falls forward for 3 more yards. We just have to be smart and just get him down and let our shoulder pads do the talking instead of trying to strip the ball." Full Story
