| 'Blue-collar' Vols must focus on basics KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- The 24th-ranked Tennessee Volunteers have an identity, just not one they're accustomed to. There have been Vols teams in the past with commanding defenses. Others have given Tennessee the nickname "Wide Receiver U." "I'd say it's very much a blue-collar team," coach Phillip Fulmer said of his current squad. Previous Tennessee teams have sported All-Americans and first-round draft picks galore. Quarterback Erik Ainge acknowledges the Vols (5-3) probably doesn't have many current upperclassmen among those ranks, but thinks some of the younger guys may reach that star status. Full Story
