| Briscoe practices for first time since concussion KNOXVILLE — Josh Briscoe recalls making a catch Saturday against Alabama and being knocked down hard enough to make his head bounce off the turf at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Beyond that, it gets a little fuzzy for Tennessee's junior wide receiver, who suffered what Coach Phillip Fulmer deemed "a pretty significant concussion" on the play. "I came back in and played about four more plays," Briscoe said Wednesday. "I had (another) catch. I don't remember it." The Vols' No. 3 receiver was able to laugh about it Wednesday after returning for a limited-contact, indoor practice at Neyland-Thompson Sports Center. Briscoe, who was held out of UT's first two practices this week, was cleared after undergoing a series of tests Wednesday morning, and he's expected to play Saturday against 15th-ranked South Carolina at Neyland Stadium.
