| Running backs carry Vols to winning streak KNOXVILLE — It might not be a coincidence that Tennessee has run the ball as well as it has all season over the past two weeks. Back-to-back Southeastern Conference wins over Georgia and Mississippi State have marked the first two games this season that the Vols have had their entire stable of running backs on the field. Backup Montario Hardesty, who was sidelined earlier in the season by an ankle injury, returned for UT's win over Georgia. Former Antioch High standout LaMarcus Coker missed the season opener at Cal after serving a suspension during the preseason. With both of them back on the field and starting tailback Arian Foster rounding into form, the Vols have rushed for a combined 401 yards in their past two victories heading into Saturday's game at Alabama.
