| UT's Woes As a BAMA fan, first let me apologize for some of the "classless" so-called bama fans that have posted on here lately. Yeah, we all have them and ours are as rediculuos as everybody else's.
Personally, I have never been a fan of Fulmer and I root against UT in all games regardless of the opponent. This dates back to how he handled getting the head coaching job. Majors is still trying to get the knife out of his back on that one. The NCAA investigation stuff just added to my opinion of him.
To my point...I think Sanders may be the smartest one in this whole mess of a season. I think he has been given the marching orders over the course of the first 7 games. RUN RUN RUN...he, in my opinion, has had little, if any, freedom in his play calling. For example, in the LSU game Sanders emphatically called time out as Fulmer was preparing to send in the kicking team for a field goal attempt. Sanders talked Fulmer into going for it and they eventually scored the go ahead touchdown. Fulmer was in control of the offense at that time.
I say Sanders is smart here because he refuses to be the scapegoat. Fulmer is truly on his own on this one for the rest of the season. I doubt seriously if you will see a drastic change in the gameplan. Fulmer will call the plays and they will be heavily run dominated and you won't notice a difference in the play calling.
We shall see, but who does Fulmer blame if the problems continue? |
