Coach Philip Fulmer had his team ready for the big sec game vs Georgia Saturday.Ryan Karl said during the week that if UT didn't change their defense they couldn't beat anybody.So,with an open week the vols went to work on special teams coverage,defense,and running the football.From the first kick Saturday their work paid off.The vols killed UGA in every aspect of the game.With the Florida loss Saturday night the vols contol their own destiny.Now thoughts turn to a pesky Mississippi State team that beat Auburn at Auburn.After that it will be time for the "Third Saturday in October," as the vols travel to Alabama.But,maybe the vols hardest test will come in Lexington,KY. That game might decide the SEC east. If the vols keep up the good work I might be making reservations in Atlanta.GO VOLS!!!!
