| Offensive coaching staff makes it hard to enjoy UT football It has been hard to watch UT football these last two years since in addition to watching the players; we listen to the television commentators who are also amazed at what is happening! We, and they, wonder if the offensive coordinator and the head coach will overreact to a play (as was done this evening with Clausen and the interception) and make a quarterback change or as with last year wondering what in earth would have to happen for a change to be made. (And change only came after an injury!)
Sometimes it is time for a change…even great coaches are only great when the game is their game, but when other teams change and the game continues to change, and they do not. Then the answer is easy…GO!
What do we need to get Clausen’s younger brother or any other top recruit to come to Tennessee? It is the promise of support, excellent coaching and the opportunity to achieve greatness as part of the Big Orange tradition.
I have attended UT games from the time I was three years old and never before found it hard to watch UT play ball. I will not be watching the Notre Dame game as it is not fun and it rips me apart to constantly keep my attention on the coaches and not the game. |
