| Comparisons to Manning mean little to Vols' Ainge KNOXVILLE — Four days before the big game at Florida, Tennessee quarterback Erik Ainge received two big compliments. "He's playing, in my opinion, as good as anyone out there, period," UT offensive coordinator David Cutcliffe said Tuesday, referring to anyone in the nation. Then there's the one from the top dog. UT Coach Phillip Fulmer said Ainge has as much command of the offense right now as any UT quarterback since Peyton Manning.Heady stuff, but don't expect those words to go to Ainge's head. One of the main reasons Ainge has been so successful this season is because nothing seems to bother him, good or bad. Ainge will take his 22nd-ranked Vols (1-1) to the Swamp on Saturday to face No. 5 Florida (2-0), which also happens to be the defending national champion.
