| Hey Phil You might want to dust off the old resume after loosing to a 3RD rate SC team.! How can anyone loose this many games with that much talent???? Fulmer better get his head out of his hind end, or he is gonna be looking for a new job! I've been a vols fan for a long time, but this is ridiculous! |

A 3rd rate team? South Carolina has a better record than, is higher in the SEC than and beat Tennessee with a less talented group. Not so sure it is the Gamecocks that are 3rd rate. |

| yes, a 3rd rate team Tennessee lost to a South Carolina team last night that couldn't have beaten the UTC Mocs football team. We are undoubtedly the worst NCAA Division 1 team in the nation right now. I hope this spells the end for Fulmer, I'm tired of watching him clapping as his undisciplined players cough up the football on every other play, get called for illegal blocking on every single kickoff return, and drop passes that hit receivers right in the hands. It's disgusting, and it's time for a change. |

| South Carolina has played us tough for years now. We've won some OT and very close affairs similiar to the way they did last night. SEC East is going to be tough for years to come and Spurrier will have SC challenging for a title in 2-3 years. I think it's going to be REAL tough to ever win a national championship playing the SEC East. |

We are undoubtedly the worst NCAA Division 1 team in the nation right now. I think you are wrong there, my friend. South Carolina is certainly not the best team, but they are also not the worst team in Division 1. USC can be a dangerous team because they are not taken seriously and thought of as a push over. As the next person posted, South Carolina hasn't lost to UT by much the past few years at all. There were some of those games that USC should have won. Whatever happens to Fulmer, I don't care, but I will stand up for South Carolina. Even though we don't have the tradition of UT, USC football still fills Williams-Brice and you will not find any people more optimistic than a Gamecock fan. We are ALWAYS waiting for "next year." And this year, as far as the Tennessee game, we don't have to say that. To the post about it being almost impossible to win a National Championship in the SEC east, I think you are right. In the SEC altogether. No one team is a powerhouse anymore and all the teams beat up on one another. And although I hate to admit this because I believe the best football to be in the South, it does seem Southern Cal is the best this year. |

| Man, I love it. 3-4 for a preseason top 5 team?!?!? That lets you know somethign about your coaching staff and the type of players they brought in. Ainge looks like a cancer every time he comes off the field with some excuse for not getting it done.... looks like he blames the recievers or the line every time.... which doesn't exactly make him a solid "leader." UT is gonna be sad until he's gone, along with phil and his gang. Watch out for vandy after the ND loss or UT could be looking at a 5-6 season with NO BOWL GAME! |

| I'm Shocked!! This is the same South Carolina team that got beat by 41 points at Auburn, had to go to the wire to beat Vandy AT HOME, and Troy yes TROY university was in their game at the half. As a Gator fan, I'm not feeling sorry for UT--we've got our own problems (i.e this garbage spread option crap, and the Alabama game makes me want to jump from a bridge), but UT should handle this team even with Phil Fulmer at OB,,,running the option no less. |

| PHIL FULMER Fulmer is a great recruiter. No less a great coach... It is heart breaking knowing that you have such a great Defense and your Offense can not put up any points. Its almost to the point of putting Crompton in the game, but then again the only reason Clausen is playing is because Phil wants his brother to come to UT. "Supposely his brother is suppose to be the next Joe Montana or something like that" Neither Crompton or little Clausem will help us unless we get something going on Offense. Our O Line is to big to get down the field to block. The running backs are running right past them. It seems as though when the QB does make a nice throw the WR have a problem catching it. Which you can say is a lack of excuction and not the Coaches fault, but the last I checked the Coaches are their to fix excucution. So Phil you have a decision to make...STICK BY YOUR BOY SANDERS, or GET THE RESUME READY. I know MTSU is looking for a good coach. |

| South Carolina I love the way the Gator fan describes the cocks as the team that lost in a blowout to AUBURN. SC was without Blake Mitchell and on the road. We turned the ball over 3 times inside Auburns 35 yard line. We lost the game bad. With that said, You guys barely beat UGA without D.J. on a nuetral site. We almost beat UGA in Athens. I think we lost in Athens by 2. If I am not mistaken, Alabama dropped the hammer on the Gators. SC lost to Alabama, UGA at full strength, and Auburn. These teams have a combined record of 21 wins and 3 losses. The players that are getting it done for SC are freshman and sophomores that are getting better each game. Florida has a good team, but I would not pound my chest to hard just yet. I looked at your team stats and your offense was more productive under Ron Zook than Urban Meyer. I hope the players at Florida feel the same way the fans do. |

" And played Tennessee with the first three receivers OUT! USC is no program like Florida or Tennessee, but healthy they can possibly pull out a surprise or two. As for Tennessee recruiting, it's Dillon,SC's John Chavis that is the hero at UT. Chavis actively recruits and has done a heck of a job with the UT defense for years. |

Believe you me...Vandy has the talent to score 18 points, a figure that we dont seem to reach this year. If we stay in a Zook offense..we seem to do better. I liked to have crapped my drawers in the third quarter of the third quarter of the Gawja game when we came out with that stupid option formation and no backs. I am definitely not a Cocky Gator...we do have enough problems without worrying about anybody else, the SEC East is a killer division.

| The problem with you Vols is when you lose a couple, you mail in the rest of the season. I like Tennessee--both the state and university. Have a load of friends from Jackson to Memphis. But in the SEC you simply ain't gonna win them all. Remember the "hob nail boot." |
