| Tennessee Vols have holes to plug quickly BERKELEY, Calif. — Moments after Cal's 45-31 humbling of Tennessee on Saturday, UT Coach Phillip Fulmer said, "It will be a great film study for us." It will also be a long one. There's a lot of work to be done on Rocky Top this week. The most pressing issue will be adjusting — or downright fixing — the defense. The No. 12 Bears hung 471 yards of total offense on No. 15 UT and averaged 7.2 yards per play. Granted, Cal features one of the nation's most talented receiving units, but it doesn't make Vols fans feel much better after the coaching staff's comments last week that UT faces these types of players each week in the SEC."Defensively, we just missed too many tackles, especially from the safety position," Fulmer said. "That's something we're really going to have to address." UT has holes to plug quickly
