| Ainge's broken finger proves to be least of UT's worries BERKELEY, Calif. — Turns out the Vols had much more to worry about than a pinkie finger. Whether playing for redemption, revenge or just pride, it worked for the Cal Bears on Saturday night. No. 12 Cal smacked No. 15 Tennessee 45-31 in front of a sellout crowd of 72,516 at Memorial Stadium in the weekend's most-anticipated game. The last time UT gave up more than 45 points in a loss came against Florida in 1995 (62-37). Cal also got its revenge on the Vols, who defeated the Bears 35-18 in the 2006 season opener at Neyland Stadium. Bears bury Vols - Nashville, Tennessee - Sunday, 09/02/07

| Re: Ainge's broken finger proves to be least of UT's worries i might have bean a bit harsh on them before but after thinking about the good things that happened for us in the game instead of the bad im much more confident now. |
