We're in trouble next year

I thought this was going to be our last shot for a year or two to make a good legitimate run, but now we're going to be lucky to finish with six wins! I'm really concerned about next year with Vandy coming on strong as they are and you know Spurrier will have South Carolina better than us next year. I think in '06 we're going to be lucky to finish fifth in the SEC East.

Hire Spurrier. He'd leave SC for TN in a heartbeat (for enough money).

if this freshman johnathan crompton is as good as advertised, we'll be contending in 2 or 3 years. ainge is a bust, and our running game is crap. mediocre quarterbacks cannot succeed in passing without a running game that keeps the defense honest.

Yeah, I hope we'll be doing better in a couple of years, but we're going to have some major growing pains getting there. I think Spurrier and the Gamecocks are going to clobber us this week, and with Notre Dame that's at least five guaranteed losses. If we're lucky we might be able to get into a bowl.

Bowl? Ha Ha Ha

The only bowl we even have a chance to go to is the Music City Bowl in Nashville! That's where fifth place teams go!

But don't even count on us going there!

Priceless

2005 ESPN GAMEPLAN $100

Matching TN VOL's shirts for the family $50

Watching Tennessee roll over and take it up the rear on national television (4 times already this year - another coming in Southbend next week)

PRICELESS

One ☻☻☻☻ed Vol's fan in Texas.

Why not let Ainge play, for crying out loud!!!
He is supposed to be the future, he made some good throws tonight. He was not the one who fumbled in the endzone, again this week. This is un!@##$ believable.....Fulmer coaching not to loose a !@#@#$ game is getting really old. The rest of the SEC is evolving....more diverse teams, more diverse offensive strategies.....if we don't get our act together, we could be the Bi@!#$ of the SEC East for many years to come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe we could get Beamer to bring BeamerBall to Knoxville. At least our special teams could function. Can't wait till women's basketball season starts. Can Summit coach football?

I think that is why he is at South Carolina--they pay a lot of money and it's warmer than Knoxville.

We're in trouble next year

Its funny, I told my brother back in 2001 when Spurrier left Florida for the Redskins, " You watch..if the NFL doesnt work out, he'll end up going home to Tennessee and rain down hell on the Gators forever."

You better bet after winning in Knoxville, he's gonna have a game plan for the Gators that wont quit. He's got a grudge against some of his fellow Alumni, and you may see him smiling again soon, if Florida dont go up there with finally some offense.

I always thought that if he left Gainesville, he'd up in Knoxville.

Music in the air...

According to buzz I hear on Campus today, there is a press conference scheduled for either 2 or 3 pm today, where Randy Sanders will be offering his resignation...

THANK GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were in Knoxville for the game. We always love going there. What a great place to play football. The fans really treated us well. Tennessee is a class act. The Tennessee band playing the Carolina fight song before the game was a nice touch. What a great program. The Vols will be back - this is just a bump in the road. Beat the Irish!

My Gosh, what a coach!
When Florida needed a new coach, he was contacted and quickly let it be known he wasnt interested, back when we were having terrible problems with special teams under Spurrier, we tried to lure his special teams coach with a bigger salary offer and the answer was Nada. Beamer's getting on in age and they seem to love it in Blacksburg.
