Fire Randy Sanders!!!!!! How long is it going to take Mike Hamilton to realize that after Cutcliffe left, our offensive production has done nothing by regress. It's appaling to me that with as much talent as fulmer said we had this year, we're still this bad. And honestly, if we really do have that good of players, the fault HAS to lie within the coaching staff. Every Vol fan out there knows that Sanders is no good...our conservative offense is no good... and our players are as about as undisciplined as I've ever seen them. The playcalling is abosutely abismal (everyone knows that). But the frustrating part about it to me is that NO ONE DOES ANYTHING ABOUT IT!!! After we get our butts handed to us at Alabama, I would LOVE to pick up the paper that morning and see that Mike Hamilton told Fulmer, "Hey you know what: I, the alumni and most importantly the fans are sick and tired of watching the Vol's lethargic offense coompletely fold up and die game in and game out. So here are your choices Phil... you fire Randy right now or you and him can leave together!"

You said it all brother. Sanders is terrible and has to go. With the talent we have we need a first class OC that has been around the block a few times (pro and college). Sanders is going to start costing us recruits. I don't blame either of the quarterbacks for entertaining the idea of quiting.

Coming soon to a theatre new you;"Sacrificing Sanders&q Before we ring in the new year we will see Sanders gone. It has been quite hard being a Tennessee fan the past couple of years. After tonight we are amongst the lowest of all Div 1 schools with a meesly 13 touchdowns all year!! A great defense and I will give that the Chavis. He is going to have them ready to play year in and year out. However where has the offense been? On a downward slide since we won the Title in 98!! I would like to be a fly on the wall overhearing the discussions between Chavis and Sanders! One of the best defenses in the country being overshadowed by the worst offense!! When is the last time that we have ranked over 100 in total offense? I don't know if they keep the stats that far back! Oh, and lets not forget; Spurrier has Fulmers number! He could coach a Junior high team to victory over Phil! If you have noticed the longer that Phil coaches vs. some of these SEC coaches the easier he becomes to read by each of them. Georgia's coach has his number and Schula at Alabama has figured it out real quick. Anyone thinking about coming to Tennessee are definitely looking at all options now!

Randy isn't the problem This offense will suck as long as Fulmer is in charge. Sanders doesn't run the offense, he is Fulmer's yes man. The ultra conservative play calling has been around forever. It works great when we have a great running game, but when the line sucks like it does now the whole offense sucks. The blame this season lies with the whole coaching staff. Ask anyone who has ever played, when you have this much talent and you lose because of mental mistakes, penalties, dropped passes, fumbles, and an overall lack of motivation by the whole offense; there is a coaching problem. It doesn't matter how well they practice, if they don't get it done on the field, then get rid of the guy that is in charge. That is Phillip. He should retire this year. We need a young coach with the ability to motivate the talent. Also, Clausen needs to go home. He sucks. On the final drive Tennessee had he could have kept the drive alive if he had completed one of the two poorly thrown, easy passes he made. He sucks. He is not the future of this team, and this season is shot. Get Ainge all the playing time he can get, and get him ready to take control next season. Phillip Fulmer sucks against the top coaches in the SEC. He should do us all a favor and retire.

Worst Coached Team in College Football? Pre-Season Top 5, now 3-4. Is it all lack of execution or simply no consistent game plan other than an offense that is predictable, unprepared, undisciplined and embarrassing to watch. Off-tackle right, off-tackle left, incomplete pass, punt. If UT extends Fullmer's contract this year, they'll never see another dime from me. For what UT pays him, we should expect a top-notch coach. A season like this will destroy the one thing that Fullmer could do well, which is recruit. Why would a good offensive player come to play for this level of incompetence? If major changes aren't made this year, this program is in trouble, and I'll not stick around to watch it. Remember Bill Battle.

Amen! The man has lived off one game for 7 years. And that was with someone else's offense. It is sickening to see so much talent do so little year after year. The offense looks almost every game like they didn't even know that there was a game that day. That's a lack of preparation and discipline and that comes back to coaching. You can blame the players all you want but players come and go and the problems are the same. The defense plays with passion and discipline most of the time. That tells you that it's not all about the head coach. It's the offensive coach. I'm not sure if I'll renew my 4 season tickets (and the accompanying donation) next year unless something changes. We should be playing for a championship but we may not even play in a bowl game. Unbelievable!!

Some of us have been saying this for 4 years yet we keep following the Vols. I'm not jumping off any bandwagon. I'm saying enough is enough. I'll be in South Bend Saturday and in Knoxville the next 2 Saturdays. It's just not acceptable to have so much potential and fail year after year. If it takes myself and others not renewing to get the message across then so be it.

randy sanders The blame should ultimatly be with the head coach. He has the responsibility of creating and maintaining competent staff. I think Sanders would be more efficient with less responsibility as he was when Cutcliff was the Offensive Coach. If one fires Sanders, one should also fire the head coach. Fulmer had the authority to override any decisions that the assistant coaches have made, and as we have seen, the decisions have been a failure. As to fair weather fans, this is not high school. This college spends millions of dollars each year on recruiting top rated player and the salary of the coaching staff. As much money that this organization makes, we expect to be in the top 10. Otherwise, I am told that Liberal Arts needs more money. Perhaps they can be more efficient with it.
