Vols out to become SEC contenders again

The Tennessee Vols restored a measure of dignity in 2006. Now they want to prove they are good enough to contend for the Southeastern Conference championship once again.
The Vols' 9-4 season perhaps was just enough to erase memories of an embarrassing 2005 season, when the Vols ended with a 5-6 record and missed a bowl game for the first time since 1988.
