Starting at the top?

Tennessee is ranked pre-season No. 2 in the nation by Athlon magazine. Some say it's better to start low with low expectations and then move up. But others say in today's ranking environment, it's better to start high and then try to stay there. Case in point: Auburn last year.

Anybody have any thoughts about this?

TN is better off on top early>

I agree totally. Auburn was robbed last year (not of a national championship but the opportunity to play in the Nat. Champ. game).

TN should benefit from a high seed and such a hard schedule. Many road games that will test the VOLS.

By the way I thought TN was robbed by the refferees in the SEC Championship game VS. Auburn last year. Any comments on that?

Peace Out.

I agree. Every time we got rolling in the second half some call would stop our momentum. If not for the calls I didn't see Auburn stopping our running game.
