| Re: Vols second baseman set to transfer to FSU According to reports, former University of Tennessee second baseman Tony Delmonico is set to transfer to Florida State.
Delmonico, whose father, Rod, was fired as head coach of the Volunteers earlier this month, was granted his release from the school and will now likely enroll at FSU in the fall.
As a sophomore last year, Delmonico had nine home runs, 53 runs and 49 RBI.
He helps fill a position of need for the Seminoles coach Well can't say I blame the kid...his father was fired...way to stick by the old man. Besides, FSU has a really good baseball program....wonder how his teammates feel about it though? |
