(WVLT) - Sources close to the University of Tennessee's Football Program have confirmed Vol Football Signee DeShaun Barns has been released from his letter of intent.
The native of Tallahassee, FL, played at Tallhassee Lincoln High School as Safety, though it was thought he'd be moving to linebacker at TN.
NO word was given why he was released, but Barnes is now free to pursue other college opportunities without penalty.
