Post Vols vs. Ole Miss

Hoover, AL (AP) - Mississippi scored five runs in the first inning and then held on for a 6-3 victory over Tennessee Thursday night in the second round of the Southeastern Conference Tournament.

Ole Miss sent ten batters to the plate in the first inning and scored three times before the Vols got their first out.

Tennessee starter Craig Cobb (8-6) was replaced by Lance McClain after facing only seven batters.

Unfortunately, the Diamond Vols also lost to Vandy, 15-2. They've been eliminated from the SEC Tourney.
