| Pearl staying at Tennessee Good news, Vols fans. Your basketball coach says he has no intention of going to Iowa or anywhere else. "It was never a consideration for me to leave Tennessee," Pearl told the Associated Press. "I had a phone conversation with Iowa's athletic director early this morning as a courtesy for a place I have coached at and have great respect for. The University of Iowa is an outstanding school, and I know they will find a quality coach to continue their strong tradition of great basketball."

| Re: Pearl staying at Tennessee Good news for everybody. Bruce Pearl is a hot commodity & he's done wonders n a short time for the Tennessee Mens basketball program. Hard to believe how the fortunes of Bruce Pearl have changed so quickly. Stuck in D2, stuck in Milwaukee then 2 years at UT & he's the latest golden boy of D1 coaching.
