Tennessee's Chris Lofton was named a second team All-America by the Associated Press today. A 6-foot-2 junior guard, Lofton led the Vols to the second-most wins (24) in school history and an appearance in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. The Associated Press Southeastern Conference Player of the Year, Lofton led the league in scoring (20.8) and in 3-pointers per game (3.42). The Maysville, Ky., native's 106 3-pointers this season were the second-most in school history and his 313 career 3-pointers rank third in SEC history.
