leave the Saban sucks thread alone unless you have a comment about the suckiness of Saban........then by all means fire away



this thread will not tolerate defending Fulmer by any means.......only bashing is allowed

please let's not take it to the extreme and bash the fine state of Tennessee or its wonderful people.........this is just to bash the scum that is Fulmer

Fulmer sucks so bad he barely coached the Vols to a win against Air freakin' Force......................are you kidding me ?

i could coach a High School team to a win against Air Force

Fulmer sucks... But I understand why Bama wants him to leave. Losing records against a lot of teams, but when to Bama even Fulmer can beat the Bammers.

The topic is Coach Fulmer sucks. I don't really think he does but to keep with the thread's rules... I'm pissed at Phil because he can't get us back to the SEC title.

I don't hate Phil but his coaching has been going downhill for a few years. I wouldn't fire him this year and I wouldn't give him an extention or a raise. Next year if we are not a SERIOUS contender in the SEC and win the East then I would have a long talk to Phil. Just having a winning record isn't enough. We need a CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!!

Talk is cheap fire the bum and promote David Cutcliffe you will win more games that way.

Probably not for the first one, and definitely not for the 2nd one.

The earliest he could go out is after 2008, after we complete 10 straight years without winning the SEC.

There is about 5% of the Vol fan base that wants Cut as a coach. When Fulmer is gone, he is, too.

I just don't think Cutt is the man for the job. He is the best quarterback coach around but not a head coach.

Coach Fulmer has a very good coaching staff. He has to to get the recruits that he gets. I think his problem is lack of leadership, he almost reminds me of Shula at Alabama. We had good coordinators and good players but Shula jst did not have the ability to bring it all together on a consistant basis. When the Vols play with everything together they are vitually unbeatable, however they can look hapless when the are off track.

Yeah, I think you hit the nail on the head, Tuck. I know I've made the comparison before, but Fulmer reminds me SO much of John Cooper... lights-up recruiter who always seems to have underacheiving teams. The difference being, of course, that Fulmer actually does have a National Championship.
