Sorry, I know some folks, yourself included, know a good thing when they see it and appreciate what Fulmer's done. And for those calling for Fulmer's head, complaining about Bowl records and whatnot, just remember, it can get a lot worse. You could wind up as the next Nebraska or Notre Dame.

Re: FIRE Phillip Fulmer

So when Fulmer loses to LSU will the fire get stoked again? Rumor is if Tennesee gets rid of Fulmer Spurrier is waiting for the job.

Re: FIRE Phillip Fulmer

only three loses this year thats not bad and if i remember a lot of you predicted tennessee to barely get a .500 season this year.and the three games we lost may have bean blow outs but lokk at who we played cal was our first game of the season florida always beats us and bama we played good in the first half than we just gave it away in the second.i just think that some of you are just wanting to blame fulmer when we have a young defense and they should be the ones to blame but dont get me wrong our young defense and young recievers have really steped it up this year but there not use to being in these sec rivalrie type games.and the two games we won by just e few points we were leading by a lot in both in the first half but the players got comfortable and let them sneak up on us.how did fisher have anything to do with that, but he did get the team back together and we ended up with the win.so with that being said besides the play of the players on the field why should fulmer be fired?because last i saw thats 5 wins in a row now.good job fulmer and keep up the good job.

I swore I heard on TV the other day that Spurrier might replace Les Miles at LSU. Guess that's best discussed in another forum though.

He was quoted as wanting the Tennesee job if it opens up but would not turn down the LSU job.

Re: FIRE Phillip Fulmer

We could end up worse than Fulmer if we get rid of him. I just don't here anyone saying that we might just get better also. I say he keeps his job but no extensions or pay raises. We could get blown out in our last 2 games so wait to the end before we talk about those things.
