Well, the UT Men's basketball team has done better than most anybody expected this year. Coach Bruce Pearl has certainly made an impression on fans and players alike. We enter the SEC basketball tournament as the #1 seed in the SEC east. A 2nd place finish for the regular season title is not too shabby

So what's the SEC tornament look like for the Vols? We've lost 3 of our last 4 games and we have a tough game here in Nashville today against the Dores. If we win today, I think we make it to the SEC title game. If we lose our final regular season game, I think UT makes an early exit from the tourney.

Anybody want to chime in? How does Tennessee fair in the SEC tourney?

I haven't seen the brackets yet. I hope they do well but I'd look out for Arkansas (as the surprise team) they seem to be really hot right now. I think LSU has to be the favorite right now though.

what seed do u guys think the vols are gonna get?

I think the Vols should be able to run the tournament. There are no real great teams in the SEC. LSU, Kentucky, Alabama, Arkansas, and Florida are all decent but not outstanding and I think Tennessee stands out above them. Chris Lofton is probably one of the top 5 players in the country.

Tournamentwise I think Tennessee will be a 3 seed, maybe a 4 if they go out early in the conference tourney and they could sneak in a 2 seed if some other teams like Texas or Illinois lose early in their tourneys.

No matter what happens whatever arena they play in needs to crank up the heat a few extra degrees so we can get a repeat of Bruce Pearl sweating through his suit. How can one man sweat that much?
