What Fulmer meant by "best QB" Week after week, I try to give Casey Clausen the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he isn't the worst quarterback I've ever seen. Maybe Fulmer does see something that the rest of us can't. Maybe Clausen could be the best quarterback Fulmer has ever coached. NAH! The only way Fulmer could not be mistaken in his comments about Clausen's talent is if he never actually coached a quarterback. There is no way that Clausen is better than Manning, Martin, Schuler. The conclusion...Fulmer never coached these great UT QBs, he's only coached Clausen.

lol! You may be onto something here. Phil's been working on the Vol's big uglies in the past (but apparently not this year). It was Coach Cutt that broght up the QB's before Clausen. Randy Sanders just can't cutt it on bringing along young quarterbacks that are full of potential. We end up with older QB's that are still just full of potential. ross

Re: What Fulmer meant by "best QB" I have to agree with you Fullmer never had to coach these player they had god given talent. But let me give Casey his credit were its due. He is better then his brother hands down.

Re: What Fulmer meant by "best QB" I think I may be able to shed some light on this. I think Fulmer liked Clausen because he did the most with much less talent than the other quarterbacks had at UT. People don't alwasy like Clausen, but he is one player i always look at and say , he gave his all for Tennessee each game. He wasn't the most talented guy, but we sure had some sucess.
